Mildred is a senior lecturer in Educational Technology and Director eCampus at Maseno University, Kenya. She holds a PhD in Educational Technology from Maseno University, Kenya; a Masters degree in Teacher Education and a Bachelor of Education degree in Mathematics and Business Studies both from Kenyatta University, Kenya.  Earlier on she worked as a high School teacher of Mathematics and Business Studies, a teacher trainer in Mathematics, and a staffing officer with the Teachers’ Service Commission, Kenya. She is an entrepreneur in teacher education and a practitioner in the Times Travel Methodology: An educational method that uses local heritage in the learning process to create reflection on contemporary issues, and provide tools for community building and peace keeping. She has research interests in teaching and learning methodologies with a bias towards online learning delivery modes and use of Time Travel Method with communities and among the youth. She has been a leader of several research projects in innovative pedagogies and has supervised and continues to mentor post-graduate students. These experiences have made her a team player, mentor, motivational leader, good communicator and collaborative researcher.
