Open University of Madrid (Universidad a Distancia de Madrid)

The Open University of Madrid, also translated as the University of Distance Education in Madrid, is abbreviated UDIMA in Spanish. It is a private university in Spain, founded in 2006 as the country's third open university, offering undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees. It was authorised to confer degrees after a national quality evaluation and accreditation. UDIMA is committed to improving the skills and employability of its students, and contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the EU. The university has participated in the EU's Erasmus Mundus programme to promote internationalisation and the Bologna Process.
